CMP Aguila Centurion ($159/ case stuff) for a M41?
Does anyone know if this ammo will function in a S&W Model 41? I tried some Aguila Super SE in the yellow box in the past and couldn't get it to work in the 41 even with spring changes. I am wondering if this CMP Aguila is any different.
I bought a brick of what I believe is the $159 aguila (Centurion) ammo. My MKIII 22/45 had trouble feeding it. My Buck Mark, which is about the least ammo-sensitive rimfire semi-auto I own, went nuts. Failures to feed, stovepipes. It may be relegated to bolt action rifles and my single six. If you can get it to chamber, the accuracy is good.

I'm almost done with my first case. (5K) One of eight. About 1,000 went through my MKII and 4,000 through my Marvel. I have had maybe 10 to 15 failures of all kinds. In both guns it is very reliable and very accurate. Good stuff at a good price.
I don't buy ammo based on the aroma, but the Aguila white (CMP) box smells just like Eley gold box.

CMP sells two kinds of Aguila.....the Standard Velocity and the Golden Eagle.....re-branded of course.Straightshooter wrote:Does anyone know if this ammo will function in a S&W Model 41?
