VOLTHANE GRIPS
Thinking about putting a pair of Volthane Grips on a Mark III. Comments from anyone how has had experience with these grips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I use the Hogue rubber grips on my ruger pistols, I really like them and cleaning solvent doesn't hurt them at all.
I have never owned a set of the VQ grips, they don't feel as good as the hogue grips do to me. Just a personal preference.

I have a set of Mark II volthane grips that I modified to fit the Mark III. Shortly afterwards Volquartsen released their version which had similar modifications to mine. I love the fit and feel of the Volthane grips but I have to agree the Hogue finger groove monogrips both with and without the thumbrest feel just as good for much less cost.

I had to cut the grips in two and modify the underside for the magazine release.

Thanks for the replies. I found a set of rubber Hogue Grips at the bottom of my grip collection box and they fit my Mark 111 fine. I think I will stick
with them.
with them.
