I can remember 50 round boxes for 79 cents. The first long plastic CCI boxes I ever saw were $1.88 IIRC. Seems like a box of .38 was seven bucks?
Earliest gun prices I can remember, I paid $125 for a used blue Speed-Six in .38 with the 2 1/4 barrel, my first gun. My brand new stainless Security-Six, 4 inch, was $310. The shop threw in a $30 Bianchi thumb break holster.
Cheapest gas ever I bought at normal price was about 36 cents. With gas wars it was sometimes 25 cents.
In high school, one of our more famous eateries had hotdogs for 22 cents, a Coke (in the bottle) was 15 cents. A bowl of chili was thirty cents. You could eat a big lunch and get change back from a dollar. Now their hotdogs are two dollars and not as good. The Coke (in a cup) is a dollar and a half.
