First night of Service Rifle league last evening and I feel beat up. I just used
some 55g bulk ammo for this practice session because I'm saving my match
ammo for scoring. Has anybody found any match bullets online?
ps....I'm not going to mention my score, it will improve.

Hmmm, that's good, how much were they?

69's are all right but I prefer the 77 SMKs; if you can find them anywhere.

I have been shooting Hornady 75gr Match, mainly because I can get them a little cheaper. Seem to shoot well. I used to shoot the 69gr SMK's.

What rifle do you shoot them out of? (ar-15, twist, barrel)

SR League:
OH = 77
RFS = 94
RFP = 94
SFP = 168 (with a 5 and a miss, %&#@!, the rest were nicely grouped?)
I think this is the first time I had a miss on SFP.
433 Total (Not bad for me, considering)

The 69SMK will do for now as we only have 200yds. I have to drive 100 miles and join another group to get long range. Heck ever 55 ammo from PMC works pretty good at 9.00/box. I have plenty of 69s on the shelf. What I am short of is SR primers.

Congrats! Hopefully you walked away with all good feelings about what happened in that match. Stay positive mentally. You'll know when something doesn't go right just don't dwell on it. Your scores will continue to rise as your confidence in your abilities grows.

Depending on who looks at the score, it could be considered good or not so good.
But for me, it's a very good score, based on my skill level. I have learned that
being a competent high power shooter is quite a skill set. I am impressed at those
who can shoot 470ish and above.
