Howdy Toy, sure would haate to get on your non prderred list. You still got the Great Eight? And very ingenious, your spring tensioning device, main thing is itworked and that is the way to win the War.toyfj40 wrote:I've found it to be more satisfying to just GIVE the Remington ammoBud33 wrote:I found that Remington ammo was heavily covered in grease.
To be sure that your gun and clips are clean and free of grease,
you might try wiping down the bullets!
to someone that is less of a friend than he thinks he is...
so, be wary if I ever offer to give you some Remington-ammo

You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

Better yet, leave a box on the range. Then someone will try it. When 7 of 10 FTF, he will leave it for the next person. Sort of like a chain letter.toyfj40 wrote:I've found it to be more satisfying to just GIVE the Remington ammoBud33 wrote:I found that Remington ammo was heavily covered in grease.

The RGB's are a tad shorter and fatter than either CCI SV or Federal Value pack. They are the only ones that like to catch on the feed ramp of my MKIII. I've even had the fatter cases expand to the point that they were hard to get out of my single six. Seem to do alright in my P22 and Buck Mark, but the two boxes I've bought in a year have not impressed me. Probably the last time I will buy a box.
Well folks, I did a bit more shooting yesterday and I do believe my MarkII likes the Federals better than the Remingtons. The upper target was my last of the day because well it was a great time to stop since I don't believe I could ever top it
Please understand I am not bragging here, after all I am bench resting. But I'm just amazed at how accurate this inexpensive pistol can be. All of my Rugers are very accurate mind you (Vaquero and Superblackhawk) but this Mark II is hands down the most accurate pistol I've ever shot, with my Superblackhawk and Goldcup being close 2nds.
Is it the 22LR's ballistics or is it the Mark II's design?
