Smith and Wesson Service

Post by lucam » Tue Dec 14, 2010 7:54 pm

This is an update on a previous post.

I called Smith and Wesson today about my troubled 317. It shoots all over the place. The customer service rep was very kind and suggested I send it in for them to take a look. They emailed me a shipping label.

We'll see what they say.

I have had a few small issues with my S&W's and their service department took real good care of them for me. I have no complaints with them at all. :)

S&W has always taken great care of me & has sent me parts FREE of charge several times to repair other peoples guns, all they wanted was the serial #
I had a 317 No Dash & it was lite & would shoot any 22lrs I fed it & ejected perfectly, I was always careful to only use a plastic 22 bore brush as the cylinder was aluminum & didn't want to scratch it up & cause extraction problems..
My 2" 317 would shoot as good or better than my 642 & 940 snubbies..
Good Luck
