Haka, if you got the treats, I got the dog to eat them.
Dave, must have a good size scooter, back in my day , I rode3 usually had some kind of crotch rocket that would not carry much more than me. but it was fast and quick.
Greener, can bet your butt on that backing up to the range, Never did it with the old Montero because of the swing out to the side door, bit this swing up door is greeeeeaaaaat. It even protects from a little bit of rain between the range roof and the car. Ammo, targets and most other stuff is left in the vehicle because of my storage shelf and all I have to carry out for a range trip os the guns. We get smarter as we get older, hopefully.

I was unaware that Hakaman was walking to the range.bgreenea3 wrote:overdoing it? you are the one with a motorcycle for a range bag, haka is just using a relatively inexpensive duffel with a beverage holder
Dammit, I forgot to get the bike with reverse! And no cup holders!greener wrote:And oldman just bought a new range bag with cup holders, bear space, two layers of gun and target holders, good on the road....
Nice being able to back up to the firing line.
Honda VTX1800S ... it is a monster of a bike, but the saddlebags will only hold 2 pistol cases each, and that's if I dump the stuff that's in there everyday.bearandoldman wrote:Dave, must have a good size scooter, back in my day , I rode3 usually had some kind of crotch rocket that would not carry much more than me. but it was fast and quick.
I should try putting it up to the backstop one of these days, I could just park it at the outdoor table, too!

Yes, we did that the other day and we did it again today, sure is tough having to carry thing 6 to 8 feet to the shooting bench, got to do something about that for sure.bearandoldman wrote:Glad to hear that, Bear and I are going to jump into our range bag shortly and drive it to the range fully loaded.Hakaman wrote:I guess it was one of those proverbial "brain farts".
Lucky for me, the bag is ok !

Hey Glockeyed,
those bags look very nice, convenient, and well made. Very innovative on your part.
Those pistol bags look like they do the job to keep your guns separated, sweet !
I know OM is going to chime in an tell us about the ultimate range bag on 4 wheels, you just wait.
Haka
ps...I didn't see a beverage holder on that bag?
