Big Bore Handguns

Now this is probably more like the guns the Greener used to shoot as far as bore diameter, but his had wheels. Wonder how the mailman feels when he delivers? Someplace in Oklahoma this exists, friend sent me this earlier today. Kind of hard to conceal, got to be the biggest J frame I have ever seen. Great detail by some craftsman, lettering on barrel, bullets in chambers.

i think thats their new XX frame to out do the .500 Mag! I like the Grips. I would like to hear a range report !

It may be their ******* revolver, and lookx to be a 8.000 magnum or better. Kind of hard to arry conceale dbut it woukd get their attention. How is the new little one?

Guess, I am a bad gun owner, mine are always loaded. OK on a revolver as the cylinder rotates when you pull the trigger, but not needed as most guns have an interlock so the hammer will not hit the firing pin if the gun is dropped. But not on an auto, as the gun is next to useless.
Hak that Eley Sport I got from you shoots great in ,y 4 digit carbine and not bad in most of the others.

In the original Colt SA and some clones there is no transfer bar or hammer block. These would fire if the hammer was hit hard enough. This the money cylinder ..

Right you are, that's why the old cowboys alway just loaded 5. They only put in 6 if they figured things were going to go bad. Wild Bill probably always loaded 6, but he must have been a great shot and really did notrcare if he killed someone. I was trying to think of the term "transfer bas" but the old brain was letting me down. Thanks for the help. It is really not a real new innovation as I do have an Iver Johnson made in 1915 that was called the safety hammer. Ther add was "you can hammer on the hammer{".

I'm glad it's working out for you, all my 22lr's are semi auto, and it just wouldn't cycle the action. I thought it would be good for a Lever action. I just bought a couple more bricks of CCI SV ammo at Dicks SG, $25/500rds.
