Mark lll additions

Post by Hakaman » Mon Nov 30, 2009 3:27 pm

Well it's been a couple days since I spent some money on guns, so I got an itch for some new parts for my Ruger Mark lll . Actually, I damaged my rear target, aesthetically(big word), and it just bothers the ____ out of me. So I went to the MidwayUSA website to take a look around and found these: Volquartsen TL2000 Rear Sight Ruger Mark 3. I have alway had problems aiming with the stock sights anyway, the "V" shape seemed to have too much room for error in it. So with them being damaged I ordered these:

I couldn't stop there, or could I ? Nope, I couldn't, so I figured these would really help my shooting ability, Volquartsen Volthane Target Grips Ruger Mark 3 Right Hand :

I have heard that these grips will make the biggest difference to the Mark lll over any other add-on. (not including the shooter though).
Anybody have any comments on these two products?

I actually have both and like them very much. The grip I milled a bit out of the bottom to better grasp the bottom of the mag, but that was a personal thing. I would buy them both again if needed. I'll try to post a pic later.

You're going to like the feel of the grips. They feel very natural on the pistol. The TL200 sight is a Bo-mar knock off and provides for some very accurate click adjustments to the rear sight.
