What's a pronoun?
It's not an amateur noun, it has lots of experience.

And we thought you talked funny, how did you change when you moved South? or did you always talk that way?

That's OK, out West they either talk with a slight lisp or pronounce their "J's" like "H's"!

Nope, got that Eastern North Carolina accent with a bit of New Orleans and Michigan. Living up north in Virginia has mellowed it out.

No wonder I had a hard time communicating with you but Bear seemed to understand.

That's right, sometimes it can be brown on both sides though. Like the foreman told the guys he hired to lay sod"Green side up guys"

Browner on my side of the fence. Crabgrass turns brown this time of the year.

Go over in the neigbors yard and look back, see if the grass is realy greener on the other side of the fence.

One neighbor is in his late 80's and the other is the house that partially burned in January and has been standing since. Don't have much for comparison.

Don't make much difference where you are there are houses like that. There were a couple of old local buildings a few blocks from me that had burned more than once. A florist shoo, an old grocery store and the stores owners old home. They finally razed them last Summer. The other day ther is a small older home like that a couple blocks away, was on the way to the range, saw a back hoe and just the back wall left was all. Those abandoned houses bother me.

Young couple who flip houses bought this one a few weeks ago. They've filled 10-yard dumpster with charred house pieces and then pulled in a 30 yarder. They were beating and banging away for a good part of today. Added a couple of windows.
Guess I'll have to stop writing the County Manager and requesting a reduction in property taxes.

I still have the full blown eastern NC accent. I went to California on business a couple of years ago and they thought I was faking my accent
