well I made it to the range today and shoot 50ft bullseye with the correct targets and a timer (for the first time). Targets that I used where the B-2 & B-3 . First thing I learned is to slow down on the timed and rapid fire portions I still had plenty of time left on the timed and I had already fired all 5 rds and on the slow fire I still had 6 mins left and I was done but all and all I think I did O.K. at best. I shot 3 matches for a total of 900 pts and I came up with 808. the three groups went as follows 277/300.....271/300......and 260/300....... so there it is . Ive still got a year to practice before the local range starts there league next fall and I just started shooting Bullseye about 2 months ago so I think I'm doin pretty decent for a rookie. boy that last rd sure hurt 260/300 the timed and rapid where not as hard as I thought they'd be but a 808 aint to impressive but I think Its a good start .

Your first two scores are Expert class and your second, Sharpshooter. You're doing just fine.
Just take your time and work on your cadence to get all 5 off within the 10 seconds for rapid fire. Set up your natural point of aim so your dot is solid in the x ring. First shot should break when the target turns or the buzzer sounds. Then you have 9 seconds left for 4 shots. Thats plenty of time.

I had no problem getting all my shoots off within the 10/20 time frame ,in fact I find that I need to slow down a bit on the timed fire portion . I now know why you struggle with the slow fire . I was useing the wrong target but now that I'm useing the correct targets I see that my slow fire will need more work as well, Those 7& 8 rings didn't do much for my scores. It's gonna be awful hard to hold the 9/10 ring on the slow fire target. What are the point levels ? I dont feel to bad hitting the expert level in fact I'm pretty pleased with my results . Next step I really need to find what ammo my gun likes the best and stick with it , I'd been useing CCI standard volcity and eley but the toy store was out of both of those and ended up with some winchester T22 , didnt care for the winchester much really dirty and smokey.

If you are having problems finding CCI st vel, try CCI Blazer's. I just tested some & found it rivaling CCI Std Vel. Some other good target ammo's are Aquila SE, Eley Brown box. T-22 I have not gotten as good grouping with, but your pistol may like it.

actually Bullseye I had no trouble with the ammo ,it functioned perfectly but was pretty smokey, I detected no "weak" sounding rouds and they seemed to shot pretty well . I really need to get 4-5 diff. kinds of ammo and see which gives me the best 50ft groups and then dail the pistol in accordingly and at least have 2 kinds of ammo i can shoot incase im out of the other ..........but what i really like to do is get something in a 32 s-w long and just hand roll my bullseye ammo ..........but mama's got me cut off
