Hey OM,
I wonder if your Henry could keep up with my Ruger Mark lll target pistol. This prairie dog has seen the light, the light of my Match Dot scope. That's 100 rounds at rapid pace, but only 30 feet.

A friend and I went down the the State Fair grounds(yes, s of 8mile) to a gun show they were having there.

I wasn't very impressed with what was offered, and the prices seemed too high for everything. Example, best price for 9mm fmj 115gr ammo was $19 for 50 rds. No thank you. Even the guns were highly priced. I did feel successful in 2 particular ways.
1) I made it out of there alive, even though I was south of 8 mi rd,
2) I held in my hands the infamous 22lr Henry $400, and also it's brother, the 22mag Henry $497.

And unarmed too, boy the Deeeeeeeetroit Deeeeeemons were smiling on you.
Actually finding 9mm is getting to be a problem, sure don't see much around these days and all the bigies like Midway are listing it as out of stock and no back order. Maybe that price was not so bad after all. You must have been looking at the Goldenboy, it fits in better south of 8 mile because of the flash factor. The blued Henry is about 280 most places.
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

Yea, as a matter of fact, it was a golden boy. They also had a black one with a Large Loop Lever on it.

Checked at the gun show in Richmond. Henry's were running between $300 and $400.
10/22's were a lot less. Len is a bad influence.

Len is even a bad influence on Len at moat times. Around here the H001 about $280.00 and the big loop about another 10 bucks.
Here is Henry with his glasses.

With glasses like those, you could probably shoot the hairs off a fleas back. Nice set up!

Been tempted to put one of my biggger scopes on him, that one is only a 6-24. Got aan 8-32 and a couple of 10-40's on some of the 10/22's
