MKIII bolt reassembly help needed!

Well, I had the post a short way down entitled "Lost rebound spring". Ruger sent me a new spring, rebound support and firing pin. On inspection, my old firing pin had a huge gouge on the top of it. Maybe that's why my Ruger has been shooting strangely. My current problem is this: I used the bolt assembly/reassembly instructions that Bullseye put up. But something is wrong. The bolt will not go back into the gun. The receiver is hitting the tip of the recoil spring. Could someone either post a picture or explain to me how the new parts that Ruger sent me go together? The way I have it now, the rebound spring is under the firing pin doing nothing. I have the bend in the support all the way to the tip of the bolt. Sorry about the length of this post and thaks for reading it. Please help me ASAP! Cheryl
Bullseye, maybe a photo or two along with how they go together, especially the rebound spring. I know it just doesn't just doing nothing. As always, thank you for your help!

Bullseye has the bolt under the MKII and MKIII. Here is the photo with this foot note. NOTE - When reinstalling the rebound spring and guide assembly take care to place metal tab facing forward on the bolt.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have seen this photo and it doesn't quite answer my questions. What does the rebound spring hook onto? It doesn't just lay under the firing pin does it? Also, how far up does the rebound support go? I know that the spring hooks onto the support, but it must hook onto something?? Does the rebound support bend go so the bend is up or flat? I am very confused. I hope these questions do not confuse everybody else.

If you have the right spring it just slips over the small bent foot/piece. There is no hook on the spring.
The spring goes over the rebound shoe foot, then it just lays in place as shown. You install the FP on top of it, then you will have to push the FP down slightly and back to install the FP Block pin. The block pin will hold every thing in place. If every thing went in right you should be able push the PF forward till it hits the stop and it will return when released.

Blue, just want to say thank you. With Bullseye's pictures and your instructions I got it all assembled and the bolt went effortlessly into the gun. Thanks for helping out a newbie!

Glad to be able to help. The first time I took my bolt down for cleaning it took a little time to figure how it went back together. I was away from home and did not have internet access. You thing the bent rebound piece would go upside down, but it does not work that way.
I got to shoot my MKIII this morning so it was a good day. Actually shot pretty well for a change. Starting to get use to my new glasses and dot sight. At lease I'm shooting well enough to hit the furry tail rats.
