of my guns, Mark lll 22/45 and Mark lll except for the trigger in each one, which I am about to tackle. I do not have any way to check the weight of the trigger pull and am not sure exactly what to look for in the adjustment of both screws. I have not bought them yet but as I understand from this forum they can be adjusted externally with blue locktite as a finisher.

I hope someone can help me as this will probably the last upgrade I'm going to do for a while.

I'd suggest when you change the trigger, also install a VQ sear. It will drop the trigger pull to about 2.25lb (no trigger gauge here, either). The VQ trigger adjusts externally using an allen wrench. Cock the pistol (unloaded, of course) and turn the pretravel adjustment screw clockwise. The trigger will move forward. Keep turning the screw until you get the pretravel you want. If you get the screw too tight, the sear will not reset. Just back off a bit. It is a trial and error process, but will only take a couple of minutes.

I've done this to two MKIII's and 3 MKII's. It certainly makes a great improvement.
