Got it home and took it apart to deep clean and put in Volquartsen trigger, sear and hammer bushing. It was pretty dirty but not cruddy. Has anybody seen this kind of scope mount ? It's a Bushnell Magnum Phantom 1.3x. The beveled rail is part of the scope tube and u-shaped clamps that fit onto 2 inverted cones with set screws on both sides. It's really a solid mount but I've never seen anything like it. It also came with Hogue wraparound grips that fill my hand very nicely. I've tried adding pics but I have a windows phone that appears too stupid to do it.

Pictures have to come from a photo web hosting site. I don't have the forum software set up to accept photos. I can post them in your thread for you if you want to send me a copy via email.

What you describe sounds like a B-line mount. A friend of mine uses one on his MKI since it's not D&T.

Mine is d&t for the two posts. But only one hole for each post. Bullseye will hopefully add my pics for a better understanding of what I have. The posts are screws with tall inverted cones for heads spaced about 2 3/4" apart, the u clamps have holes in the "base" and the top of the u clamps onto a rail molded into the bottom of the scope tube. The base has 2 set screws that lock it to the cones.

That is a Bushnell Phantom scope mount with the twin 'V' mounting blocks. I didn't have a picture of them but I found this one on RF.com.
