Just won this auction from my local pawnshop. What do you think for $236 OTD. I have really been looking for this particular model and passed up 2 nice ones at cabelas but they had the 512 bull barrel for $220. I cant wait to pick it up and see how it shoots. Thanks Rick

I like it and would have paid that much.

That KP514 was a good buy for $236. I have a KMK514 that I bought a while back for $200 and I love it. The feel and balance of the short, thicker tapered barrel is very enjoyable to shoot.

Nice snag! Are you going to add a VQ sear and trigger?

It was jamming on every 7th round and found out the magazine follower is worn out and not bringing the bullet up at the right angle. This gun was in worse shape than the excellent cond that the seller stated but I will give it a touch of some TLC to bring it back to my likings..I also noticed that the recoil spring ears were bent inward and even after bending them back to normal the spring doesnt fit snug so im going to replace it. One other thing I noticed is the Mainspring housing sticks out a few mm's and when I shoot it just seems weird that I feel the metal back there instead of the plastic backstap. It can be pushed flushed with the backstrap but moves back outward a little bit. Thanks Rick
