Looking for the perfect load for this 1 in 7 twist Palmetto. It's proven an accurate rifle but I believe I can get more out of it with the right load. Thus far it appears to shoot 55-75gr bullets over Varget equally well.

Experimentation is the best way to achieve maximum accuracy. Not only do you want to look at bullets and charges but small variations in bullet seating often can make a huge difference.

There is no magic load that works with all guns. The only proven way is to shoot a latter load workup. Then select the best loads then work finer steps to each side. normally you will find 2 nodes that work. Once you find the best load then you start playing with OAL. You need to test with several powders and several bullet weights and mfg. It a time drawn out process but it will get you there.
