has anyone here ever used this ammo before? Wallyworld had a box of 50 for $11. So I picked it up out of curiosity.

I haven't tried the new brass cased Blazers yet. I have shot the old aluminum ones, they shot well but I never really liked those disposable casings. I'd be interested to hear how you like these after trying them out.

I have used both and they both worked well, and the brass reloads all right also. I have found that the Blazer by CCI loads are jsut a little on the hot side , but wotk well.
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

I fired off half a box today at the range. No problems. 8)

I use both the brass and aluminum for practice in my Kimber Pro Carry II that is my primary carry gun. I've never had any problems with them and usually order a case of 500 of the aluminum-cased rounds from Natchez Shooter's Supply whenever their price is right. I also use them in my 9mm Pro Carry II. CCI has been making ammunition for a long time and has an excellent reputation in the business.

At the range today, the fellow next to me was shooting the CCI Blazer Brass in his Kimber, which looked rather new. I asked him how he liked the ammo because I'd bought a couple of boxes of it and hadn't tried it yet. He said that it was great and he had some problems with the Kimber prior to going to the CCI ammo, but never a problem with the CCI, and he was happy because the CCI was cheaper.

I forgot to ask him if he had tried S&B, because it runs on the hot side too. However, I think that CCI's ammo, like their Mini-Mags is on the hot side, which is why he hasn't had any problems.

A couple of years ago I bought a slightly used PPK in 22LR at the "Fine Gun Room" at Bass Pro Shops. It was horrible. I couldn't get through a magazine without it jamming. I then bought a box of the CCI Mini-Mags and went through the whole box without a jam. Now I was interested; I bought two more boxes and shot those. I then bought two more boxes, but just shot one of them because I was getting tired. So a gun that couldn't shoot 10 rounds without a problem went 400 rounds with no problems and no cleaning. It sort of made me a CCI lover.

I was shooting Win White Box from Wally World and noticed that I was getting a lot more smoke than what he was getting. I figured it was from the gun powder vs. my plastic gun (Beretta PX-4 Storm) melting. (Beretta finally made a gun that I really like).

Blazer Brass has become my new range ammo. It's the cheapest thing out there other than Wolf and I choose not to shoot wolf in anything other than my Com-block rifles.

My kimber loves the stuff and it seems to be loaded a little hotter than most.

Try the aluminum-cased rounds. They're even cheaper and perform just as well (unless you plan to reload, of course). I just wish CCI made 5.56mm!

I've shot some aluminum cased blazer and it worked fine. The brass stuff just seems to be cheap and available at the moment.

I don't reload at this time, but I save cases. Probably have 5-600 once fired brass in boxes.
