Thanks for the note. It's so easy to overlook little things like that. Been there. And my kids love to remind me of such things, usually in public.
Currently working on a project for my oldest daughter (in her 40s) She mentioned last winter that she sure wished she had a gun of her own. Darn! I must have been asleep for 40 years. She has been physically disabled since birth, She doesn't have full use of her arms, hands, and is very short statured. (Think Dwarfism). She is a trooper though, and my go-to computer expert. When I asked her why she never asked before for a gun, her answer was "they don't sell guns for people her size and abilities".
I'm just in the finishing stages of remodeling another old Sevens Mod 15 for her.Stock LOP 6 1/2 inches, recontoured, reshaped, etc. and overall length 26 1/4 in. (gotta keep the feds happy) with barrel re-tapered after shortening, then blued, finished, etc. Made a 90 degree from axis cocking knob handle as she can't grasp the cocking knob with enough strength to pull it back otherwise. It's been a fun and challenging process. Now I'm hearing "When will it be done, Dad", "I want to shoot it".
Great Kid.

Thanks for the welcomes. Appreciated.
Baldy, you are right about the kids and grandkids. I have 2 daughters, one 41, and one 39. The older one is the one in the post. The younger rarely shoots, not anti, but just does other things.
Grandkids are Great. My oldest is, 21, the youngest just turned 6. He will probably be the shooter. We'll see in another year or two. Still working on attitude adjustments.
The best part of grandkids is filling the full of soda pop (preferably with caffeine) lots of other sugars, then send them home.
Paybacks are a bitch ain't they?
