Went to one of my local Wally Worlds this morning for one brick of their Federal .22. Clerk was telling me about a guy who came in at 6 AM and bought 100 boxes of 9mm (I'd like to have the guy's bank balance, wow).
I asked him if they had just gotten it in, he said their stock was good, he had a couple hundred more boxes, and more coming. I saw a good spread of .380 on the shelf, too. My local Wallys don't seem to have a limit on any ammo now.
I'm holding my .22 stash at 20K rounds, just replace what I use. Have to see what the ad-dumb-istration tries to pull before I start letting it shrink........

I have been reloading 9mm and also buying Blazer aluminum
case ammo. It's sort of relaxing shooting the aluminum rounds,
I don't concern myself with picking the brass up off the "blazing" ground.
I wonder, is that how the name "Blazer" came about ?

Ammo at Wally World
Several years ago I spent $2,000 on ammo at a local WallyWorld and the clerk actually called the manager and they both assisted me with transporting it to my vehicle. Nothing was said outside the "Have fun with all that" the manager quipped as he walked back into the store.
These days $2K would not have even purchased a tenth of what I loaded into the truck that day.
I will probably be trading away my 380 (P3AT) since it is the only one of that caliber I own and I am trying to get them pared down to 6 different calibers at most. A bit easier that way IMHO.

Other than the sporting goods manager at one of my local Wal-Marts being grumpy, I haven't found any others that haven't been cheerful and helpful.
6 calibers ought to do in a pinch.
.380's seem to be relegated to small, easily concealable short-range shooters. Seems to be the only reason to have one, especially along the lines of the Kel-tec, LCP or Taurus. bgreenea3 has a PPK that is a much nicer shooter. I still carry, mostly, my 442.

I couldn't agree with you more. Makes it easier to reload with less variations.I am trying to get them pared down to 6 different calibers at most. A bit easier that way IMHO.

The tension screw may have needed tightening. I disassembled it and added a little lubricant when I put it back together. Took a number of pics coming apart. The slide spring was stiff and made it interesting getting back in. Other than that, easy enough for me to do it. Have pics of the steps coming apart.
I'm glad to hear it all worked out for you. Kind of fun digging around inside those revolvers - isn't it?
