Other than Mini Mags for MKIII
Because of the info I got from this Forums members I have used exclusively CCI Mini Mags in my MKIII Hunter and have received flawless performance from them. I'm now finding mini's hard to get and was wondering...
Does anyone have a good source?
What do members think about Federal 22 LR 36 GR Copper Plated HP?

I've had good luck with Fed Value Packs and Winchester Xpert22 value packs.
Both work the action and feed without any problems. I avg maybe 1/500 that fail to fire.
The Walmart's around be carry me carry CCI, Fed ammo, and Rem. I do not recommend running Rem Thunderbolts.

Ruger
Seriously, if it is a Ruger, it should shoot pretty much anything. I own a MK.II and regularly shoot Federal and CCI SV. It is extremely rare for me to have a malfunction. I'm thinking one in every couple of thousand rounds.

I just did a test last week. While CCI Minimag were the best (about 50 rounds at 1.5" from a rest), CCI Blazers were very close (less than 2"), and good enough for most everything except Bullseye.
Federal and Winchester Super X were inconsistent-generally 3-5" was the best I could do. About every 6-7 rounds were "weak" and a couple failed to eject.
Blazers are generally available in bricks, at least in Northern CA.

Ammo
I practice with CCI Blazer and use CCI MIni Mags in matches. Both are excellent. Both my Rugers will eat just about anything but Remington.
Mine does equally well with the Federal Value Pack HP, or Federal Champion lead RN. That's about all any of my firearms get to eat.

The Federal Bulk 550 Value packs are what I've been buying for several years, Wal-Mart if/when they have them have great prices on these BTW.
I've filled a Huge Plastic container with 2200 rounds of the Federal waiting for my next range trip with my 10/22 & Newly aquired MKII Target..
Here's a pic of them both.. Note Ammo Stash Container.

I've really stashed some Wally World bulk. I've got 19 boxes of the Federal HP in GI .50 cal boxes. That's 10,450 rounds. Plus a lot of Federal Champion from Gander, and assorted other. My total count is just over 16K rounds of .22LR including a few hundred .22WMR. I can't wait until it's a little warmer!

Winchester bulk
Just tried some Winchester bulk (333 pack) today and had no FTF's or FTE's. Seem to be relatively clean and are cheap enough (less than $10 at
