:( Have a 422 that fails to load 10% of the time. Have tried lotsa Winchester. Seems a little better with Federal champion. It seems to me that the action is simply not cycling all the way. A little extra tug on the slide will load the next round. Thoughts gentlemen? :idea: [/b]

Sounds like something is binding. Is the recoil spring clear, nothing to interfere with it compressing fully? Mag lips parallel? Is the rest of the mag straight? Try loading the mag, then pull the follower down and shake the cartridges out. Do they fall free easy?
