goodbye ibfestus

Post by stork » Tue Jul 07, 2009 11:09 am

I've been out of the loop for a bit and didn't read through this thread.

WOW! What a piece of work. Goodbye and good riddance. With an attitude like his, I'm sure he's high on everyone's "wishing you were somewhere else" list.

This is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful forums out there. Bullseye doesn't need to change anything. ibfestus needs to work on his people skills.

I am pretty surprised that in my 3+ years on this forum that this fellow is the only bad apple I've seen.

I guess I was lucky not to get involved with this one. I would have made the same inturpetation of what Bullseye did. He would have been better to say I want to reload blanks as blanks. But the way I read it he wanted to reload blanks, where blanks were ref to fired brass. And I learned may years a go the blanks can do serious damage and death if miss handled.

I do guess there is always a bad apple every now and then. But like you I'm on very few forums that ever have any issues. I have been on some where a few users were on probation. But what it was I don't know it happened before I joined.

Case closed, life goes on....

I think this little episode speaks volumes for the integrity of this group.
Everyone remained civil and tried honestly to help answer a question.
I would venture to say that we may have seen out first troll and handled it with flying colors.
Another outstanding performance by the best gun forum on the web IMHO!
Bud

Beware the man who only has one gun.
HE PROBABLY KNOWS HOW TO USE IT!!!

Interesting observation Bud, I hadn't considered the troll aspect because we've never had any here before. I believe you may have called this one spot-on. :thumbs up: Your deduction is the only sensible conclusion for the erratic behavior of the OP.

Don't give all troll's a bad name. I live in Michigan, a unique state composed two large land masses connected by a long four lane suspension bridge. I live in the Lower Peninsula and the people in the Upper Peninsula they are commonly referred to as Yoopers, consider the people down here in the Lower to be Troll's. That is because we live down under the bridge, eh?

Modesty and my gentlemanly upbringing prevents any comment.

I hadn't opened this thread before. Excellent job of responding to someone with apparently serious anger management issues.

Either that or you can't think of anything to say. Not bad for a Troll that moved south.
