OSHA Out To Ruin Our Gun Sports

Post by wlambert » Wed Jul 04, 2007 8:20 am

An insidious OSHA Proposal to place unreasonable restrictions on the sale of ammunition and components has gone relatively unobserved, and if approved, could ring the death knell of all shooting sports, much less the acquisition of small arms ammo... at any price.

Please read the links from the NSSF and NRA and take the requested action.

Both the 1st and 2nd Amendments are increasingly coming under attack.

Indeed, everyone should take the time to write their congress critters and voice their concerns about these proposed OSHA ammo/components shipment restrictions. This is reminiscent of the revolutionary days in 1775 when the British General Gage attempted to seize the powder and arms at Concord, Massachusetts, in order to render the colonies helpless against royal rule. Our government bureaucrats are attempting to render the 2nd Amendment immaterial by removing the means of citizens bearing arms through administrative action under the pretext of public safety. How fitting as we celebrate this the 231st anniversary of our Independence from Britian.

Plus, the 1st Amendment is being assaulted under the attempted resurrection of the Fairness Doctrine.

It never ends with these people. Until the citizens in this country are deprived of the right to keep and bear arms, the government will not rest. It is the natural progression of government to try to assume more and more power.

This is why....

And this is why I don't trust our government.

The anti-gun nuts are now trying to use "back door" methods to "outlaw" guns.

Sooner or later, they'll try to do something.

OSHA is now backing out of this, saying "oh no, no, no...... that's not what we were trying to do at all".

BS. They got busted and had to go back before people with guns got really irate.

I love my country, but damn, I just don't trust my government. None of 'em.
