What do you think is a fair price for 500rds of 9mm reloads? I paid $125.
All the components were his, and I have shot his loads before and they are
very good fmj 115g rn's.

The last time I bought components to reload 9mm it was running me around $12/100 but that was some time ago. Depending on bullet cost this could be higher or lower. I paid somewhere under $80/k for 124gr RN.
I would not sell any reloads due to liability. All it takes is one bad to turn a good day into a very bad one.

That's not a bad price. Beats commercial prices.

That's why I reload. My 45acp cost is around $19/100 . It allows me to shoot twice as much for the same investment. The biggest cost is the bullets. You can go from the cheap lead all the way up to premium bullets. I could shoot 45acp for the same cost of 9mm if I was to shoot lead. But if your setup to cast your own you lead bullet is very minimal. I know of several that cast from free lead which really makes it cheap.
The best thing about this is that I always have ammo on hand. Provided I keep my supplies stocked up. And buy in bulk. Which I learned many years ago to keep a min of 1 yr with a prefer of 2-3yrs. This has helped me weather the storm this last couple of years.
