RugerForum VERY busy

I joined the RugerForum yesterday. I told the EWK Technologies guy (makes the Bearcat housings) that I would sign up and review the housing I got from him.

The layout is similar to this one, and today I clicked "View posts since last visit". No less than 200 posts popped up. There is no way anyone could read all the posts and get anything else done.

Maybe I should have gotten a housing from Bowen Arms. I know they do excellent work, but I can find no review of their housing. The Ruger Forum had several buyers give great reviews of the EWK, so I went that way.

Oh well. I can skim the posts and maybe pick up some other good info.

That is a big forum. I sometimes post in the Ruger Rimfires Long and Short forum but beyond that I don't have time for the rest.

I post both rugerforums (.com and .net). I don't think the overall knowledge on .22's is as good as here or rimfire central. If you have an SR9, the .com forum has a great sticky for tuning it.

The .com forum had an on-going battle over whether the SR9 was better than the Glock. Frank opinions on both sides were expressed. Interesting for the first six months and boring for the next 6.

The .net forum is pretty good, but, again, not as good on .22's. I think a couple of the posters are excellent and very knowledgeable. They seem to have a habit of banishing folks for alleged transgressions.

Saw rugger22's posting on the Bearcat housing. Pretty good.
