rough town
I heard on the radio that Detroit has been ranked number 1 for violent crime. I hate to hear that as I see that several folks on this site are from that area. I've lived my entire 41 years here in the Birmingham, Alabama area and it didn't do much better coming in at number 10, I think.
I know that both towns have their rough sides, but if we watch our backs, hopefully we (and our families) will live a good, long (relatively crime-free) life. Stay safe my northern, gun-toting friends.

A year or so ago, Saginaw was #1 and Michigan had 4 in the to 10. No wonder I carry a gun, cold weather is here, warmer and longer clothes and the Micro is traveling with me again.99/100 wrote:Have you been to Gary recently? I don't think there's anyone left......
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

Yes, I do remember St. Louis. It was a local show and the host mentioned living there for a while. I suppose the only difference between any in the top 10 is just a few caps busted.perazzi wrote:Nah, it was St Louis.....
My home town of Birmingham is on display for the world to see on the cable show "The First 48". The producers didn't choose us for the sweet tea and southern hospitality.
