It appears that a shooting ended early because the perp held the MAC10 horizontal rather than vertical.

Very suspicious way the MAC was purchased, stolen and ended up in an NYC shooting in under two months.

Right, and donkeys can fly also. Just saw 2 of them land in the tree in my front yard.bigfatdave wrote:Impossible!
NYC has very strict laws regarding firearms, an illegal gun couldn't have penetrated the gun-control force-field surrounding the city.

You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

Guns bought in Virginia can penetrate the force field. Bloomberg has said so.bigfatdave wrote:Impossible!

The seller is a regular gun show dealer and the C&E (Showplace) Richmond gun show was that weekend. Seems a little convenient that the young lady had her new MAC10 stolen from her car within a week of purchase.

The artical calls it a "machine Pistol" I do not believe that the young lady actually bought a fully auto Mac 10 probably the semi auto version, unless "ready" had it modified. The stovepipe was probably more the shooter limp wristing it than "homeboy style" shooting....I've played with a Cobray (the economy mac 10) and it was very reliable and has never had a feed issue.....
...or the good lord was looking out for NYPD Sgt. Newsome, which reminds us all sometimes its is better to be lucky than good, but it is always best to be lucky AND good.

And then alter it so it hs a safe trigger of 20 pounds or so, so they do not get accidentl or negligent discharges.greener wrote:NYC would probably allow only the specially trained super tactical elite to carry something like that.Tigerbeetle wrote:BAOM, the NYPD just need to carry TAZ and then they would not need 4 shots to take out the perp... One shot would be enough.TB
