Guess he did prove that mechanical things can and will fail at the worst time. Never trust a safety with your life or any one elses.

How about a little analogy - sometimes humanity can be like a self cleaning oven.

A tragedy for the family members left behind but a totally preventable incident. Thank goodness he wasn't pointing that gun at the other person when it went off.
