Well, I was in Washington DC for business and pleasure. The pleasure part of the trip being the "1st annual W DC Tea Party". This is to protest the Government's ongoing drive(intentional ???) towards Socialism. Especially on the front burner is the National Health Care Plan. The crowd was peaceful and respectful, but shared their feelings. Everybody has their own opinion, but here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure................

I don't think they believe Obama?

Tooooooo much government

hmmmm.......it does make a statement/s

Official Pace Car.

with "coffin in the back"

Great setting for protesting

Kids getting into it

View from the top of the Washington Monument

Finally......Congress,...."You're fired" !

Did Hakaman post images and then remove them? I see a lot of "Image" followed by a description, but no pics.
Edit Looks like it was my browser. Sent the message and then saw the pics. Good set of pics, H'man.

The first time you look at the images they may take a while to load onto your computer. Once their stored in your computer's temporary image folder they pop up faster.

This was the event that was ignored by the Obama media. If it was even mentioned, it was reported as a small crowd. Looks like a lot of people to me. Thanks for representing me.

Yes, this event was actually overlooked by most of the media. Fox News, of course, promoted it, but not the majority of news channels. I found the crowd very respectful of law, yet got their point across. It seems that the media is hades-bent on making the liberals succeed, at any cost, even at the expense of our constitution. It seems like a "new age" philosophy to me. They won't be happy until they take God out of everything, and take away what has made America so great......."freedom". The "race card has even been thrown in by many groups, but even Obama says that's a bunch of hogwash (I give him credit for that). As far as race is concerned, I think most people are happy a man of color has made it to the white house. Race definitely was not an issue on this 9/12/09 march.
"God bless America"

I'm begining to feel (slightly) that we may have a chance to get their attention in the 2010 elections. Vote out a bunch, and lame duck whats left. Regards

I'm tired of them already, and it hasn't been a year. I think alot of people feel the same.

I think a lot of people that thought they wanted "change" are thinking that maybe they don't want it after all.

If most folks would just change their lax attitudes about voting many of these politicians would wake up. Too many people don't bother to go and vote, the result is a small percentage of active voters deciding for the majority. The shear arrogance that many of the current lawmakers have displayed is likely going to send many incumbents home in the next election.

The way some of them act, you think they could walk on water. That I would like to see them try on the 4th of July.
