Having the word "Gun" in our forum name has likely already put us on the no-no list.

Guns are bad, people with guns are really bad, Damn I sure do like bad people because I am one, and old too. Now that is really a threat and old man with one or more guns.

Scarier still an oldman who may have one or more guns and a big dog.

What shorts? Did I miss something looking for the dessert bar?

The big dog is just my alarm system, not sure what he would do under attack but not many people would want to risk them big teeth. Rob if you miss things like that, you should by a scatter gun with a cylinder choke for target work.

Here's my Hiking buddy and alarm system "Rosie". Really loud mean sounding bark but doubt she would bite anybody.

The bark is the main thing, it is a great deterrent. The bad guys will run rather than try to find out if the dog bites. For real barkers a Jack Russel is probably the best early warning system. I love dogs of all sizes, Bear rakes up a lot of roam in the bed some nights but he is my Buddy. Talk about bark, when he does the house will shake and one of bars on my door chime will resonate when he does.
