Sadly, I was unaware that the old forum ceased to exist. It had been a long time since I visited there. Rook must have lost interest and let the domain lapse. Too bad, I really liked it in its heyday. I started this forum in 2005 because the Mark II.org forum had so many problems with hackers and ISPs. Many of those folks followed me and this forum has grown steadily since then. We're small but high in quality.

It seemed that the number of posts really declined over the past several months. It's too bad because it was a pretty good forum.

You can bet your butt or even mine on that last statement.

Over the past 4 or 5 months it has been showing the entrance page and when you went to anything else it showed an error page and a lot of other stuff that this old man does not understand. The other day in a moment of boredom I checked it out and found that it has ceased to exsist. It really went downhill after Radar had family problems and left AK for CA and now he has vanished also. Remember when you and I and J57ltr were the moderators on that forum.

Looks like the top 3 posters on this site in a row.
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

A while back my bookmark stopped working and I had to find it and set another bookmark. That worked until recently and now I get the infamous 404, not found.

It has vanished out in cyberspace - gone away like the Dodo.

I'm very pleased with the company I'm with right here. You all are a great bunch of folks!

Right , I have not tried it in a few weeks and that is ail you get now. Guess it is gone forever good thing good old Bullseye started this one 3 years ago.
Rob, I think I have been hooked and will be landed shortly. Looks like a Henry big loop lever carbine in .22LR will be following me home shortly. Been watching too many episodes of He 50 year old TV series of th e Rifleman. Big young guy like him could handle a ..44 lever gun, old man should e capable of a .22.
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

Bullseye, you've done an excellent job with this site. It has certainly expanded what I know about firearms. The "how to" on Rugers has been invaluable.

Thanks

Yup, but you should keep an eye on the old man with the dog and muy grande patrone from Virginia, they got together this summer and you can never be sure of what those 2 guys might do, and they are both usually armed. The old guy like to carry a big gun.
