My neighbor asked me when I thought all this snow would melt. I told him August.

maybe late July,butby you it may take until September

This could be one of those years with 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad sledding.
Anyone who would like to be warm during retirement should look into the area that I just moved away from last year, the Lower Rio Grande Valley area at the southern tip of Texas. ( Brownsville, Harlingen, McAllen )

There, you get nine months of summer, interrupted by three months of fall, every year.

The summer heat is moderated by an almost constant 15 mph breeze from the Gulf of Mexico.

The ham population there is diverse, with hams from as far north as Canada. This is the friendliest, least expensive warm retirement spot in the US.

Just sayin'...
