GunTalk-Online has been in existence for six years now. You're right, plus it was a whole year before I started this one up after the old forum went "belly-up". It has been good thus far and I don't expect that to change anytime soon. You and I have been around together for quite some time BOAM! Bear was practically a pup back then, he definitely didn't have a gray muzzle.

Yes, he used to have a Golden face not white, we are both aging but doing well. He is 12-1/2 years old now and I will be 79 in December and we still enjoy Ma and each other. Joined the forum a day or so after it started

Yes we have, but we do not burn it like we did a few years ago. Number 4 in jointing and number 2 in posts, but getting caught quickly by the Greener.

FWIW, I ended my Ruger Forum membership today. You guys are the "keepers". This group has really been a better source of information for me, and the "personalities" can't be beat. I can't think of a single poster I wouldn't want to meet in person.

I can still offer some Bobcat advice on the Beretta forum, so I'll stay there, even if it's mostly young guys who care more how a gun looks than how it shoots.

Info here got my Mark III where it is today. That was priceless. I've had many questions answered here, often by someone else asking them. When Bullseye is sure of something, he's sure. You can take it as gospel. If he's thinking "maybe", he says so. Other posters follow his lead. You can't do better than that.

All I got from RF was extra info on the Bearcat stainless ejector housings, and Kuhnhausen's Ruger SA book, after I found both with Google.

I started here after just Googling for a good forum on Rugers, nothing specific. The Google hits showed posts on other forums where GTOL was highly recommended, more than Ruger Forum, which was " mostly for collectors".
* 2 Ruger Bearcat stainless, w/ EWK ejector housings & Wolff springs
* Ruger SP-101 .22LR, w/ Wolff springs
* 2 NAA Guardian .32ACP
* 3 Zastava M70 .32ACP
* S&W 15-22 Sport (.22LR AR)
* 2 Ruger SR22 .22LR pistols

Which one: Rugerforum.net (red) or Rugerforum.com (light blue)? Both seem to be more geared toward centerfire than rimfire. If you have an SR9, or SR40, I suppose, rugerforum.com has a poster who has done an excellent job of dissecting the pistol and showing how to improve it.

Many of the other forums have their positives and negatives. Sometimes you just have to take the good with the bad. There are certain posters I don't even bother to read because there's a very good chance of nonsense in their writings based on their earlier posts.
