Greener that is some description on artillery.Those slides are great. I like the examples of expelling charges for antitank mines in slides 34 and 35. The mines deploy, then arm upon ground impact.

Oldman: A battery has (had) six guns and a battalion has 3 batteries. High tech part is getting 18 guns in at least 3 different locations to hit the same target at exactly the same time since they have to fire at different times.
Actually, it's like almost everything else. Do the simple, basic parts of the process correctly and the result is pretty impressive.
Of course putting them all in the 10-ring is just a matter of mastering a few simple tasks. The devil is in the details.

Even us part timers get into it.
