A woman hugs an off-duty cop and is killed when his M&P goes off. They don't have a good explanation how the M&P went off without the trigger being pulled fully back.

Still not a lot of information on this one. I could see the pistol's muzzle in the proper position if the guy was leaning over, trunk parallel with the ground, and the woman was behind him grabbing both hands at each side of his waist. I guess that's called "grind" dancing. Both bodies moving in opposite directions could cause a trigger to be pulled if a finger got caught in the trigger guard. This accident happened at a party with allegedly several witnesses. I'm sure more info will come out as time passes.
