I've hit 4 with police cars..... The car was saved each time by the push bu if the push mper, we put those on for deer not pushing cars.... The most impressive was the pheasant I deboned with the cross bar on the way to a fight call, with all the blood on my fender everybody was really cooperative at the fight.

This has got to be one of the most unique car/deer accidents:

Wow. I bet that was exciting. See the deer, feel the deer and then no deer in sight.Hakaman wrote:That's funny. The most impressive was the pheasant I deboned with the cross bar on the way to a fight call, with all the blood on ny fender everybody was really cooperative at the fight.

I know a guy who had one come through the windshield. The trooper told him the deer was his and even helped him get it to someone who could butcher and package it for him. When he got it home, his wife made him get rid of it because she couldn't bear the thought of having Bambi in the freezer, much less eating him.
Of course, there are the dangerous Michigan deer that will trample you if are not in a car

Man knocked unconscious by being trampled by a deer. Looks like a pretty serious event.

That sounds like a real mess. Figured you have seen more than a few due to your line of work, and the fact that the SW corner of the state has a lot of deer and a lot of cars.bgreenea3 wrote:I was at one a few years back a Honda civic hit one at the a-pillar and cut the free in half.... The hind quarters were in the driver's lap and the front half was in the median a eighth mile back.
