When I was a kid cartoons like these were somewhat old, but I still really enjoyed them.
One of my favorites was actually Speedy Gonzales, which Cartoon Network stopped airing re-runs due to "ethnic stereotyping." I remember being terribly upset and not understanding what they meant when I found out why they pulled it.
