Gunsmith Kinks Vol I - IV

Post by Eddie A » Fri Mar 09, 2007 3:55 pm

Has anyone read these? I was wondering if they were worth the money.

They are available at Brownells.

Thanks,
Eddie

Excellent books!

These are great books, with an enormous amount of good, solid gunsmithing information from proffesional gunsmith's and hobbiests alike. You won't be dis- appointed if you like technical information, and an occasional good joke. Tons of good ideas.

Well worth having in my opinion. Safe Shooting! Joe

I'd noticed the books sometime ago, but considered them to be
a bit ahead of my GunSmithing-at-the-time...

I noticed they are $30each -or- $110 for the set of four.
the Brownells.com order-page indicates there is some COUPON
but I could not determine where/what that coupon/code was...
Does it save enough to re-consider the set-purchase ?
Where are the coupons available ?

( just enter: KINKS in the upper-left-Search-box at Brownells.com )

They have TShirts with some of the cartoons...
I think I may need the one with the "Special Bolts" shirt ...
(bottom of the list, scroll down)

also note: there is a LOT of freebie-articles on Brownells.com
select the GUN-TECH "tab" along the top, then from the list,
see: "How To Articles" -and- "WebBench" ...

-AND- enter: KUHNHAUSEN in the search-box for the list
of FireArm-Specific-GunSmithing-Books available...
I just received the "S&W Revolver" and "M1911 v2" books,
preliminary thumbing-thru indicates a LOT of helpful detail
for the individual wanting to learn/do more with the specific
models covered in the various books...

Hi Toyfj40,

The coupons are in the middle of the book in the "yellow pages" section. At least that's where they are on my catalog that I just received (it's my first one - don't know if they are sent in succeding ones or not).

Cheers!

All 4 for $76.96. And correction, it's in the "orange pages" not "yellow."
