Congrats on your distinguished revolver badge! Any medal in pistol earns you the distinguished pistol shot badge.

Thanks Bullseye;

It was a great 4 days of shooting.

I am at 24pts in pistol, but I need a hard leg to leg out.

That's right, you need more than a bronze to go out. It's been a while for me. I went out with 36 points in pistol. I had 26 and took the gold for my final EIC match. Only took me two years from start to finish. I know a lot of folks who've spent considerably longer than that to go distinguished.

Rifle is another story. I went out with 38 points. My final two were both gold. But my first three were all bronze. It took me a year to get that last gold. All I can say is, "When you have 28 points all kinds of crazy things can happen." In all fairness I was a pistol shooter first, after I went out with that then I concentrated on the service rifle.
