Fellow on the range today had 4 young ladies ~12-14 shooting J-frames. They went from missing an 8" shoot'n'see to laying some reasonably consistent groups. He had them going through different regimes: shoot one, shoot two, shoot 5, shoot in DA...
J-frames aren't the easiest revolvers to shoot and he had them doing pretty well. When they left the guy next to me ask if I were watching. Told him yes and I'm glad they left because it is embarrassing to get outshot by a bunch of little girls.

Some of the best youth shooters on our 4-H club shooting team are girls. They have a keen ability to take on the instructions they hear and apply it to their technique. We have one nine year old young lady that is turning out to be quite an accomplished shooter.
