"March" (not the month)

Post by toyfj40 » Sun Feb 08, 2009 4:14 pm

something I just heard about, planned for Spring 2010...

http://SecondAmendmentMarch.com/

their "FAQS" page indicates an effort to coordinate
local activities.

I've already exchanged brief eMails with JRLott
who commented that IF THE RESPONSE is "poor",
the media will show it as a Failure...

( and it's based in Meechi-gun )

Toy, I agree that we must get involved as individuals to support this effort, but for the reasons already mentioned I fear a poor showing. Of course a poor showing will give comfort to those who's goal is to disarm us. I see many young hunters in my rural area who love their rifles, shotguns, but won't spend a dime for an NRA membership. They don't seem to believe that a vocal/active minority are working toward making America a "gun free zone" UN style. Regards

These Marches should take into consideration that not all of us have church busses to jump on, and many actually have jobs and families to support. We need some way to send the marchers in distant cities our proxy.

Maybe a small state flag or pin to represent another virtual marcher? Ideas? I want in but can't do so.

the 2nd-amendment-march is (as best I know) planned for
about a year from now... to precede the House-elections...

other efforts are focusing on more general issues
with the name: Tax Day Tea Party
being fairly common... try a Google search.

I would hope that any such effort that gains a critical-mass
will have "local participation" in some form...

keep visiting the site(s) for the various efforts and
many opportunities will come available, especially
if we don't have jobs...
