Anyone here happen to know of a source for stainless 6-40 flat hex head screws, the ones used by VQ to attach the VQ compensator to a barrel?
The one included with my stainless VQ comp. is a blued screw. A stainless screw would sure look a little better on my Hunter but I canot find one around here in Birmingham.
I'm going to buff the bluing off the one that came with the comp. but it still won't be a good match.
I would also like to find some stainless Ruger MK hex head grip screws at a little cheaper price than the ones I got from Midway,$12.00 inc. shipping for four.

Stainless looks nice but probably won't last. Stainless is ral good at bending and galling when used SST on SST. That's probably why VQ doesn't supply a SST screw.

OK, I guess I'll just polish the bluing off the one I have. That ought to make it look a little better.
