the mags. loaded or empty wont latch in with the bolt closed but snap right in with bolt open. also the bolt will hang midway if released slowly and has resistance midway when pulling to the rear. i repl sear and bushing right after i bought the gun new but i think these conditions existed before.
if not normal, what can i do to make it operate as it should?
gun functions fine when shooting and with the red dot scope has become my fun gun to shoot.
thanks jerry

Check to see it the mag is setting too high. There may be rub marks on the top of the mags. There was a report on another forum that reported the base of the mag was preventing the mag from seating. So you may need to look there too.
Mags always seat easier with the bolt back, do not have to push the bullets down in the mag. But empty should still go in a seat with just a little more resistance.

Not normal. The mags should seat with the bolt open or closed but closed may be a little more difficult. When the bolt is closed either the mag follower or the top round will press against the underside of the bolt and make seating a little harder. There may be a clearance issue, either with the magazine body or the bottom block.

i have found that if i push in and forward on the bottom rear of the mag. it will lock in ok. i can live with that. the bolt hanging midway with mag in or out when released easily may not be uncommon, a friend who recently bought the same gun says his hangs also.
thanks jerry

If the mag disc is still in place you have contact with those parts when the mag lacks about 1/2" before seating.
If you adjusted the pre travel screw (inside the trigger/frame) and did not grind the nub off it will causing some binding.

i installed the clark bushing doing away with mag safety and i did grind off the spur on the back of the trigger.
