Hi,
I was just wondering if a stainless steel s&w 686 could be buffed out to remove minor scratches. If so, how is it done. The scratches are the type you might find if you were to rub the gun against something slightly abrasive. They really can't be felt, but can be seen if the light is just right.
Thank you, tommy

A green scotchbrite pad is great for removing the surface scratches on a brushed stainless finish pistol. Just rub the pad in the direction of the other surface lines and the finish will virtually match the factory finish.
