Metal-cased .223 cheapie ammo

I usually feed my cheapie metal-cased .223 ammo to my Chinese AK-47 clone. I reserve my handloads for my Remington 700 bull barrel, a tack driver. However, prices of bullet components are rising in Kalifornia, and I might have to start feeding my Remmy with Wolf ammo.

Won't the stuff damage my Remmy one way or another? And won't the steel case shellack gum up my chamber?

You'll just have to scrub out the chamber with a good brush and solvent more frequently. Because your rifle isn't an autoloader, shellac gumming up the chamber isn't as critical.
