"SNAKE MEDICINE"

With hunting season hoving into view and remembering that sign "BEWARE OF RATTLESNAKES" at one of our ranges hereabouts, I'm thinking of brewing up a batch of snake medicine in .357 and .45 ACP filled with 7-1/2 shot.

I wonder if y'all can recommend your brews? Can't find any in my reloading book.

Jaeger,

I haven't made any of my own snake loads but I do have some in 45ACP that were made for me. Therefore I don't have a recipe but I did find this link with a little search http://www.jamescalhoon.com/snakeloads.php You may have already found it but I thought posting the link was worthwhile as it has a good description for assembling these types of rounds.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Bullseye!!!

No, I haven't come across it yet, and I'll get right down to it: my little group is getting ready for a reportedly prime area for deer-bear-band-tailed pigeon. And of course, rattlers.

However, I'm strictly a pot hunter, and I got no hankerin' for bear steak. So Brother B'ar is safe from me. But - is I safe fum Brother B'ar?
