Is there a place on the web where I can study how to check timing on
S&W model 10 38cal, just bought one but it has got burrs ang gouges where cylinder indexs. thought timing might be off.

Hi,
I checked it out best I could can't find any thing wrong thought I would make a range rod, I guess the ideal is to slide down barrel to make sure cylinder ligns up. What diameter should it be for different calibers
.357 and ( would like to make one for 44 mag to), any have any info on
this.
