SIG SAUER P228

I was just wondering if anyone knew how much these go for these days. I looked at Sig's site and couldn't find this model.

The reason I ask is I saw one at a pawn shop for $650. It had a real nice DA trigger pull, felt like 8lbs or so. I figured if the price was good I'd pick it up for IDPA.

EDIT: I asked the clerk to write down the model number for me, mistake on my part The pistol is actually a 229, and the price doesn't seem to be good at all.

I don't know specifically about the Sig P229 but most of the Sigs in our local gun shop go for $850 to $1000. Some of the specialty stuff is over $1000.00. I bought a plane jane P220 earlier this year and paid about $900.00 for it. If it has the Sig Lite night sites that is about an $80 to $100 option.
