What a deal

About a year ago I bought a Colt Lawman at Gander Mountain for under $300. Seemed like a pretty good deal for a nice snubbie.
Today at the Richmond gun show, I saw two just like it in a dealers case for $975 (each).
Didn't know it was such a valuable revolver. Here I was keeping it in an old sock and shooting it regularly. Guess I'll have to treat it with more respect. maybe a new old sock?

I think I remember you posting when you bought it. Gee, that
was a good deal. That's enough difference to take a small vacation, or buy another gun........

...... Did I say buy another gun?........
I wonder how much too high the dealers were, if any? Anybody have a blue book to check? $975 sounds pretty stiff, even for nice Colt snubbies.

Sometimes distributors "fire sale" their pistols just to move the inventory, or as a "loss leader". I can't speak for Gander but sounds like you picked up a gem.

Handed will put real good prices on used guns quite often. Off gets people in the door to look at the guns and then they leave with other purchases. I've gotten a few really good deals over the years looking at the used guns
